Hidalgo is a blind Appaloosa Gelding rescued by Habitat for Horses in Alvin, Texas. I actually saw his picture on Instagram, and instantly fell in love with him, whilst i was still living in Wyoming. When we arrived back in Texas in August we drove down to meet Hidalgo (originally called Hank). A big beautiful unsure boy who just needs a person to show him he is safe. He’ll be coming to live with us in 2021 and i am counting the days. I look forward to working with him and for him to teach me a thing or two. He will make a wonderful addition to our film company.

no name is a paint mare also rescued by Habitat for horses. She has some experience with a wonderful personality that i believe will help Hidalgo gain back his confidence as he transcends into blindness. She will be his seeing eye companion. No name is a lovely soft hearted mare, she knows her mind and is polite to show it but respects boundaries. We don’t know how much she knows as she doesnt want to give away too much incase she’ll have to work harder. She will make a fantastic western film pony.
